A Nightmare on Elm Street is a 2010 American slasher film directed by Samuel Bayer, and written by Wesley Strick and Eric Heisserer. The story is based on a young girl who realises that she has to stay awake at any cost to avoid the psychotic killer who is butchering her friends one by one in their dreams. This child rapist haunts the children of the parents who murdered him, stalking and killing them in their dreams.
