Rock of Ages is a 2012 American musical comedy-drama film directed by Adam Shankman and based on the 2006 rock jukebox Broadway musical Rock of Ages by Chris D'Arienzo. The movie is based on Sherrie and Drew who try to realize their dreams of becoming famous musicians. With each other's help, they manage to navigate through the glitz, glamour and challenges of the music industry.
