The Final Destination is a 2009 American 3D supernatural horror film written by Eric Bress and directed by David R. Ellis, both of whom also worked on Final Destination 2. Released on August 28, 2009, it is the fourth installment of the Final Destination film series, and the first to be shot in HD 3D. It revolves around Nick who has a premonition of several casualties in a car crash at a car racing event. While he is able to convince his friends to stay away from the event, two people die under mysterious circumstances.
