Drag Me to Hell

This is a 2009 American supernatural horror comedy movie. Directed by Sam Raimi, the story focuses on a loan officer who chooses not to extend an elderly woman's mortgage. This step is taken by her in order to prove to her boss that she is capable of making the “hard decisions". In vengeance, the elderly woman places a curse on her that after three days of escalating torture, she will move into the depths of hell to burn for eternity. The plot of the movie is written by Sam Raimi with his older brother Ivan. Drag Me to Hell was premiered at the Cannes Film Festival and was a box office success. The movie grossed over $90 million globally and won Best Horror Film award at the 2009 Scream Awards and the 2010 Saturn Awards.
